About Us

Fruitways is an integrated fruit business with investments in fruit growing, packing and marketing. We supply apples and pears to retailers, wholesalers and traders around the globe. We pride ourselves on delivering quality products and excellent service to customers, while ensuring a competitive and sustainable return to our growers.

Fruitways is a member of the Melsetter Group, an agribusiness in the Western Cape, South Africa.

Fruitways has five different business units: marketing, packing, farming, technical services and support services. Each of these business units has its own, dedicated management structures and although fully integrated, operations are managed in a decentralised way. Read more under Business Units.

Integral to the success and sustainability of Fruitways are our alliances with independent growers and packers. The three independent pack houses supplying Fruitways Marketing exclusively are: Elgin Orchards, Molteno Brothers and Chiltern Farms. The owners and management of these organisations are business partners and we rely on their input, co-operation and support to ensure we deliver on our promises to customers and growers. We also value the support of independent growers that supply our pack houses.
