Varieties

We produce a range of apple and pear varieties that will cater for every consumer taste preference. It ranges from the more traditional varieties that has become household names such as Granny Smith to new and exciting varieties such as Kanzi. We also have a long list of experimental varieties in our trial block on Graymead Farm which might be commercialised eventually.

Packaging

We pack fruit in any packaging the customer requires. For wholesale our standard packaging is a telescopic carton with approximately 18.3kg of fruit called a Mk4 for apples and a telescopic carton with approximately 12.5kg of fruit called a Mk6 for pears. For wholesale all of our cartons are Fruitways branded.

When we pack fruit for retailers we supply in either their own brand or in the Fruitways brand. Packaging for retailers range from 600g fruitainers (punnets) to 800g or 1.5kg bags to labelled loose fruit in an open display carton. The variations are unlimited and apart from the recognised standards for blemish sorting, we can pack to weight, diameter, fruit count or colour specification.
